I picked this book up for free not expecting too much. It turned out to be an awesome story. There is a little swearing for those of you who don't like that but I am not sure it would be enough to deter you from reading the book. It is at appropriate times and really it is kept to a bare minimum. There are a few bedroom scenes but there is not much of it and it is not described to the nth degree.

I also loved how the author wove the story together. You are pretty sure what is going on but there are a few other things going on at the same time so you are not positive who the serial killer is until the story is about 90% through. I know some people don't like to know until the last couple of pages but in this story it is totally understandable and you won't be disappointed to know at that point. I also liked that there were no loose endings except for the fact that I would have like to know a little more about one of characters which I won't mention because I don't want to spoil anything.

All in all, anyone who loves a good mystery (specially serial killings) should love this book. It is a story that you want to read all at once so don't start it if you don't have a couple of hours to read it!

I can't wait to read the other books by this author.

Profile Psychological FBI Thriller eBook C D Blizzard Reviews

This book is full of suspense. A page turner. And a good mystery. I hope C. D. Blizzard brings some of these characters back in another book. I think a series with this FBI agent would be nice. C. D. Blizzard is a fantastic writer. Every one of her books keeps me engaged and interested. Well done plot, scary bad guy. As you can see, I am a fan for life.
This book totally surprised me! It took me a while to get into it (and in the while I probably finished 5 other books) but, once I picked it up again I just couldn't put it down! More than interesting, almost scary and interesting how you knew who the killer was but as he/she had no name you didn't know anything! Blizzard writes a GREAT read!
Profile is a fast paced book that I started on Saturday afternoon and read 85% by 2AM. The next morning I woke up thinking about the book and finished it. It was very interesting in the way the story was told from the view of the killer and the FBI agent. The way the killer watched Lindsey at night while she went through her nightly routine as she turned out the lights and he stood outside her bedroom window watching her sleep should be a warning to everyone. Close the curtains and hang blinds.
...the writing gets in the way. Each character has his/her personality, feelings, etc. thoroughly explored, but to the point of boredom. There are ways of saying the same thing, but in a briefer, smoother manner. The characters feel like stereotypes rather than real people. And some elements of the plot don't hold up under close examination--e.g. all of the murders are connected by DNA, but considering the manner of killing and the times involved, this could not be. And as has been mentioned by others, you can figure out the killer relatively early. I finished the book only because I was curious about one of the characters and how he related to the plot. Unfortunately, this was never explained.
A case that Special Agent Cross can't let go of, his only failure, and the discovery of two dead women in Florida. Is there a connection? Profile is the story of an FBI Agent who takes up the case of a potential serial killer. It is a tale that I found interesting, and entertaining.

Even though I determined "who-done-it" early on, I was still interested in continuing to read it to the end. I wanted to know what was going to happen, and how it was going to end. That was one of the things that made the book a 3 1/2 to 4 star rating for me. The fact that even though I knew who it was, I did not put the book down, I continued to read. This could be because the characters were well developed, and the writing style was not boring or overly wordy. There were story lines that had me saying "OK, I can see how that could happen"

I recommend this book as a good weekend read, just make sure that you block out some time, because you will want to keep reading til the end.
